Receiving Faxes via Fax to Email

1. A Fax is sent to your Crosby Fax® number in the normal way. We have thousands of fax numbers from all over the world to choose from, or you can keep your existing fax number.

2. Because this is an Online Fax Service, instead of ringing a physical fax machine on the end of a phone line, your fax number rings inside the Crosby Fax® network.

3. You receive the fax via email as a TIFF or PDF attachment.

Receiving Faxes via Secure Fax - with 256-bit Encryption

1. A Fax is sent to your Crosby Fax® number in the normal way. We have thousands of fax numbers from all over the world to choose from, or you can keep your existing fax number.

2. Because this is an Online Fax Service, instead of ringing a physical fax machine on the end of a phone line, your fax number rings inside the Crosby Fax® network.

3. Your faxes are stored and can be downloaded from our 256-bit encrypted secure online portal. Each time a fax is sent to your number, you receive a generic notification containing no specific information about the secure fax.

Sending Faxes via Email

1. You send your documents as PDF attachments in an email to send@crosbyfax.com from one of your registered account email addresses, with the recipient fax number(s) in the subject line.

2. Your PDF documents are received by Crosby Fax’s systems and converted into fax format, along with the body of your email as a cover page if required.

3. Crosby Fax® dials the fax number(s) from your email’s subject line and transmits the documents to them via fax. This works whether the recipient’s fax is a traditional fax machine or a similar cloud-based fax service.

Sending Faxes via Secure Online Portal

1. Log in to our 256-bit encrypted secure online portal from any modern web browser using your username & password. As easy as sending an email, you specify your recipient fax number(s), a cover page (if required) and upload your PDF document(s) then press “Send”.

2. Your PDF documents are received by Crosby Fax’s systems and converted into fax format, along with the body of your email as a cover page if required.

3. Crosby Fax® dials the fax number(s) from your email’s subject line and transmits the documents to them via fax. This works whether the recipient’s fax is a traditional fax machine or a similar cloud-based fax service.
